Niques Jewellery was previously known as Emas Kelantan. It had started in the year 1986 at Central Market (Pasar Seni), Kuala Lumpur. The owner which was also the first generation, Hj. Nik Hassan Bin Nik Hussein. He had moved from his original shop at Pasar Datuk Keramat, Kuala Lumpur after opening in 1975. 

In 1993, Emas Kelantan was bought over by one of his sons, who also changed the name to Niques Jewellery. After 10 years the business was closed due to other work commitments.
